Who builds FlatMile

FlatMile is an iPhone mileage log in development. It is built by Ilker Altin and operated by Reklit BV in the Netherlands. Contact: hello@flatmile.com.

Why it exists

Self-employed drivers already paying for mileage tracking often want a simpler annual log they can still export if they stop paying. FlatMile is aimed at that job: planned automatic capture, swipe classification, and records that stay on the phone. Privacy and a lower price are useful, but they are no longer an empty market slot — other apps advertise overlapping benefits. The product has to earn the rest with a working workflow.

Development status

There is no App Store link on this site because there is not a public install yet. Early access is planned for autumn 2026. Features described on the site are planned release scope unless a page is labeled as a preview or a public utility (the rate calculator and the CSV template).

What stays on the device

The planned app does not create a FlatMile account and does not upload your trip history to us. Drives live on the iPhone. That means a lost or reset phone is not recovered from a FlatMile cloud. CSV export is the planned way to keep a copy you control. iCloud device backup, if you use it, is Apple’s backup — not an app sync feature we operate.

What this website collects

The waitlist is separate from the app. If you join, we store your email, the yes/no price question, the page you used, and coarse technical fields. Analytics (PostHog, EU) counts visits and form events and does not receive the address. Details and deletion are on the privacy page.

Editorial method

Changing prices, tax rates and competitor claims are dated and linked to a primary source when we have one. Corrections: hello@flatmile.com. We name a reviewer only when that person actually reviewed the material. These pages are not tax advice.
